“What Is the Role of a Home Care Service Coordinator?”
"Building Helping Relationships: Biestek's Seven Principles"
The lecture also covered the ICF and other fundamental concepts for home care workers, using practical examples from care settings to make them easy to understand.

The second session, "Understanding the Importance of Collaboration," covered:

"What Is Team-Based Care?"
"What Is Medical Care?"
"What Can Home Care Workers Do?"
"Tasks Not Classified as Medical Procedures"
"The Importance of Reporting, Sharing Information, Seeking Advice, and Documenting Care"
Topics also included "Why Care Records Matter and How to Write Them," with clear explanations based on situations commonly encountered in everyday care.

Feedback from Participants

◎ This gave me a chance to reconsider why I do the things I do every day. I gained a much clearer understanding of collaboration, my own role, and the work of other professionals.

◎ I realized that I had not even been reviewing care plans thoroughly, including information on vital signs. I also learned more about the specifics of medical procedures.

◎ Identifying needs that are not immediately apparent feels very difficult, but I believe they will become clearer through careful communication and observation.

◎ I have sometimes been unsure how to write care records, so today's talk was very helpful. Writing while talking with a client during a short visit can be challenging, but I will make a conscious effort to put what I learned into practice.

◎ I found the explanations of team-based care, medical procedures—especially emergency responses—and the five Ws and one H very helpful.

◎ The examples were specific and easy to understand.

◎ I had felt isolated as a home care worker, as though I were alone on a battlefield, but today's training gave me encouragement. Thank you.

◎ I would appreciate further guidance on writing care records using specific examples.
